Software Integration

The command line interface makes it easy to add dynamic batch scanning and indexing to any custom application. Just a single line of code is necessary. Simply configure a scanning and indexing job in oscFile that creates the output files your program expects, then pass this file to oscFile as a command line parameter. oscFile will perform all the scanning and indexing tasks specified by the job file. If the Pre-Index Batch option is selected, process takes place completely in the background with no interaction with the user.

Index field parameters may also be passed via the command line, letting you use data from your application to set field values and output filenames.
