  CR-Series Check Transport products are designed to enable financial institutions, corporate and retail organizations of all sizes to benefit from Check21 electronic image exchange and remote deposit check capture applications.  Canon has a wide line of check scanners, ranging from the high speed CR-180 to the CR-55 and CR-25.

The CR-180 can scan up to 180 checks per minute, and is suitable for bank branch and check clearing operations that perform a large number or check transactions.
The CR-55 and CR-25 operate at up to 55 and 25 checks per minute and are suitable for teller and bill validation at the counter, as well as remote deposit for merchants.

The check scanners can also be used for any office application requiring fast scanning of small documents, such as tax bills, and can print the receipted amount on the rear of the bill, then scan the check for presentment.
