Remote Deposit allows you to make check deposits anytime throughout the day without leaving your desk. You simply go online to your bank, enter the amount of the deposit, then scan the checks. After the bank has checked the total deposit against the amount you entered, and accepted the deposit, you re-scan to mark the checks as electronically processed. That's all there is to it!
